COM Express embedded computing module with hardware security introduced by Kontron

AUGSBURG, Germany, 22 Aug. 2016. Kontron in Augsburg, Germany, Is introducing the COM Express-cSL6 embedded computing computer-on-module (COM) with hardware security for Internet of Things designs.

AUGSBURG, Germany, 22 Aug. 2016. Kontron in Augsburg, Germany, Is introducing the COM Express-cSL6 embedded computing computer-on-module (COM) with hardware security for Internet of Things designs.

The COM Express-cSL6 offers Kontron Approtect security, which includes an embedded hardware security module and a software framework. Beginning with the 6th generation Intel Core processor, all Kontron products will be equipped with hardware-based embedded security.

It includes protection capabilities with IP and integrity protection, license creation, management and tracking, license model implementation, as well as the assignment of privileges and access levels. IP and copy protection are available on the Kontron Approtect.
