IRVINE, Calif., 23 Aug. 2016. Pasternack Enterprises Inc. in Irvine, Calif., is introducing RF and microwave waveguide bends operating from 5.85 to 90 GHz for radar, satellite communications (SATCOM) , military communications, test and measurement, and instrumentation.

These waveguide bends operate across 12 frequency bands from C band to W band. In waveguide systems that require a signal to turn or bend 90 degrees, precision waveguide bends are used as to not degrade the transmission signal.

The waveguide bends have low loss and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) as low as 1.08:1 and are available in E-plane and H-plane configurations. These 90 degree waveguide bends are made with gold-plated, oxygen-free hard copper (OFHC) or painted copper alloy. The bends are also offered with either a UG-style flange per the military standard or a CPR-style flange.

This portfolio has 30 models of waveguide bends in sizes from WR-137 (5.85 GHz) to WR-12 (90 GHz). Most models are RoHS compliant. For more information contact Pasternack online at www.pasternack.com.
