SPRINGFIELD, Va., 12 Aug. 2016. Cornet Technology Inc. in Springfield, Va., is introducing the HiCAP E24 VICTORY-compliant network switch for vetronics applications in military armored combat vehicles.

The HiCAP E24 meets the architecture guidelines of the Vehicle Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) standards. The small size, weight, and power (SWaP) switch is a managed Layer 2/3 Ethernet switch built for vehicle applications to provide the additional benefits of power over Ethernet (PoE).

The HiCAP E24 delivers 24 triple-speed ports of managed Gigabit Ethernet switching, and offers reduced vehicle wiring, the ability to locate the device anywhere in the vehicle, and increased network control and monitoring capability.

The switch meets applicable MIL-Standards. It is impervious to dust and water, can operate in extended temperatures, and can withstand the shock and vibration of wheeled and tracked vehicles.

A non-VICTORY version is also available for rugged non-military applications. For more information contact Cornet Technology online at www.cornet.com.
