MELVILLE, N.Y., 14 Sept. 2016. Comtech PST Corp. in Melville, N.Y., is introducing the model BME69189-50 high-power-density solid state RF and microwave module for communications, electronic warfare (EW), and radar transmitter systems where space, cooling, and power are limited.

The module offers ultra wideband operation; high efficiency; full power across the entire bandwidth; low harmonic distortion; and gallium nitride (GaN) technology.

Performance specifications include 6-18 GHz frequency range; more than 50 Watts RF output; more than 47 decibels gain at 50 Watts; plus-or-minus 10 dBm RF input overdrive; and a maximum of 2.0:1 input/output voltage wave standing ratio (VSWR).

The module has a 28-volt DC input; less than 15 Watts of DC power and standby; 14 percent typical efficiency from DC to RF; operates in temperatures from -40 to 55 degrees Celsius at the baseplate; and meets MIL-STD-810F for shock and vibration.

The module measures 6.56 by 3.5 by 0.84 inches and weighs 1.5 pounds. For more information contact Comtech PST online at www.comtechpst.com.
