CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y., 4 Oct. 2016. Teledyne LeCroy in Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., is introducing the OE6250G high-performance optical-to-electronic converter for real-time test and measurementoscilloscopes.

The OE6250G optical-to-electronic converter is a calibrated DC-coupled 25 GHz with a wide operating range of 800 to 1600 nanometers. It enables accurate acquisition of intensity-modulated optical signals on a real-time oscilloscope at baud rates of 28 gigabaud.

For such applications, real-time oscilloscopes are gaining industry favor due to their inherent advantages in analysis and debug capability; the OE6250G enables users to use features like eye, jitter, and noise analysis of NRZ and PAM4 signal types, on high-baud-rate optical signals.
