WEST CHESTER, Ohio, 12 Jan. 2017. Pole/Zero Corp. in West Chester, Ohio, is introducing the HF-ERF family of tunable bandpass filters for military handheld radios, radar systems, satellite communications (SATCOM), test and measurement systems, and other RF and microwave applications.

The HF-ERF bandpass filters cover the HF tactical radio band of 1.5 to 30 MHz, and come in a low-profile package that measures 2 by 2.78 by 0.6 inches.

HF-ERF filters tune using either parallel or serial peripheral interface (SPI) tuning control and are pre-aligned by Pole/Zero for labor savings and ease of use.

These low-cost bandpass filters are commonly used in applications where small size, low power, and high performance are needed.

The HF-ERF combines surface-mount capability with typical 0.25 decibel compression points at +18 decibel-milliwatts, +26 decibel-milliwatts and +27 in-band and +33 decibel-milliwatts out-of-band RF power handling, +28 to +38 decibel-milliwatts IIP3, low IL, 200 microseconds typical tune time.
