Rugged customizable COM Express Type 7 embedded computing carrier boards offered by Connect Tech

GUELPH, Ontario – Connect Tech Inc. in Guelph, Ontario, is introducing rugged customizable COM Express Type 7 embedded computing carrier boards for high-compute, enterprise-level applications that need small form factor rugged solutions providing access to high-end Xeon D class processors.

GUELPH, Ontario – Connect Tech Inc. in Guelph, Ontario, is introducing rugged customizable COM ExpressType 7embedded computing carrier boards for high-compute, enterprise-level applications that need small form factor rugged solutions providing access to high-end Xeon D class processors.

The board are based on the PICMG COM Express COM.0 R3.0 specification, and include 2x 10-Gigabit Ethernet from SFP+ modules, 2x Gigabit Ethernet ports, M.2 NVMe Storage, 4x USB 3.0, full and half size Mini PCI Express expansion slots, 8x 3.3-volt buffered GPIO, and a Console connection via Micro USB.

The boards measure 125 by 95 millimeters, and operate in temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The company's custom-design services can be applied at any stage of a project.
