SAINT CLOUD, Fla. – NOVA Integration Solutions (NIS) in Saint Cloud, Fla., is introducing the model 1150 mil-spec inkjet color printer for use in wet and cold conditions.
The model 1151 replaces the now-obsolete model 1150 color inkjet printer, and offers sealed circuit breaker, tight door frames, and sealed control panel with low temperature rubber membrane buttons.
The most notable design improvement is within the heater assembly which previously allowed the printer to operate down to -20 degrees Celsius from an operational condition but was not able to become operational from storage conditions until ambient temperatures improved.
The new design enables operators to use the printer in temperatures down to -40 C ambient temperatures per MIL-STD-810G, Method 502.5, Procedure II - Class 2 temperatures, and can recover from a storage condition of -40 C in 30 minutes or less.
