VME and VPX single-board computers for military embedded computing introduced by Kontron

LA GARDE, France – Kontron Modular Computers in La Garde, France is introducing the Layerscape family of single-board computers with the NXP Layerscape Arm-based processors for compute-intensive industrial, aerospace, and defense embedded computing applications.

LA GARDE, France – Kontron Modular Computers in La Garde, France is introducing the Layerscape family of single-board computers with the NXP Layerscape Arm-based processors for compute-intensive industrial, aerospace, and defense embedded computing applications.

The computer board product family has multi-core scalability and will come in versions ranging from low-power dual-core up to eight-core processor variants and beyond on VME and VPX architectures.

These boards, which will be available next month, are for high-performance embedded computing (HPEC), low power dissipation, and supply longevity.

The Layerscape family challenges established solutions in , enabling developers of High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) systems.
