Sunon Inc. in Brea, Calif., is announcing a new power motor fan to add dynamic performance and reliability for applications requiring relatively high airflow efficiency and static pressure capabilities in high-temperature applications. Applications include 1U, 2U, 3U, 5U, and 5.5U servers, power supplies, workstations, telecommunications equipment, and other high-temperature operating systems. The PMD series includes Sunon’s MagLev technology for high-efficiency and high airflow with a relatively small hub and large impeller for temperature operations as hot as 70 degrees Celsius. Available in 140 configurations based on frame size, bearing choice, and performance capacities from 38 to 120 millimeters square, in frame thickness from 20 to 30 millimeters, units can be “ganged” for added airflow. For more information contact Sunon online at www.sunonusa.com.
