Optodyne Inc. in Compton, Calif., announced the MCV-600 Nanometer laser system for feedback or calibration of precision stages with nanometer resolution. Typical applications include field-of-view AFM in MEMS and nanotechnology, testing high-density IC and large LED display, and assembly of fiber optics. The laser calibration system can achieve a resolution of 1 nanometer with a six-pass optical arrangement. The six-pass optical arrangement also reduces the effect of air turbulence. Features and benefits include high resolution, high accuracy, less noise from air turbulence, compact, flexible, and versatile. For more information contact Optodyne online at www.optodyne.com.
