LEA offers power-distribution panel for mobile satellite communications

May 1, 2007

LEA International in Tampa, Fla., is offering a power-distribution panel (PDP) that can accept three different voltage configurations. Designed for mobile satellite communications, the PDP is light weight, portable, rugged, and simple to operate. The PDP connects to commercial or military primary power from one point power source for as much as 240 volts AC. It is applicable to 120/240 volts AC single phase, 240 volts AC single phase, and 120/208 volts AC, with 30- or 20-amp outlets. Phase lights connected between neutral and each phase illuminate to indicate input power supply to the bus. Weighing 41 pounds, the PDP is designed in an 18-by-18-by 24-inch aluminum powder-coated, NEMA 3R enclosure. It uses 60-amp MS-style, military Class L bulkhead connectors.
