Macrolink offers rugged Intel Dual Xeon ATX-based computer for avionics applications

Engineers at Macrolink Inc. in Anaheim, Calif., are offering the Seahawk ruggedized computer for military and aerospace applications. Macrolink is providing the Intel Dual Xeon ATX-based server to L3 Communications for foreign military sales, and also for U.S. military applications. The Seahawk computer is part of the U.S. Navy P-3 Orion Rev C maritime patrol aircraft, the Swedish coast guard Embraer-8 patrol aircraft, as well as on the South Korean Maritime Patrol Aircraft program, company officials say. The Seahawk computer is tested to MIL-STD-810 and EMI test per MIL-STD-461. The computer also complies with ARINC 404 standards. For more information, contact Macrolink online at www.macrolink.com.
