Engineers at Macrolink Inc. in Anaheim, Calif., are offering the Seahawk ruggedized computer for military and aerospace applications. Macrolink is providing the Intel Dual Xeon ATX-based server to L3 Communications for foreign military sales, and also for U.S. military applications. The Seahawk computer is part of the U.S. Navy P-3 Orion Rev C maritime patrol aircraft, the Swedish coast guard Embraer-8 patrol aircraft, as well as on the South Korean Maritime Patrol Aircraft program, company officials say.
