Executives at Lider Avicao, a company that manages a 40-aircraft offshore helicopter fleet in Brazil, needed flight-tracking technology on their Bell and Sikorsky helicopters. They turned to Blue Sky Network, a provider of global logistics solutions for managing transportation assets via satellite in La Jolla, Calif. Lider outfitted its Bell-212, Sikorsky S76C+, and Bell 412 aircraft with Blue Sky Network’s D1000C global flight tracking transceiver. Additional logistic features, including trip planning and event reporting, keep Lider personnel in control of its helicopter fleet at all times. Lider selected Blue Sky Network’s technology after researching satellite tracking equipment.
