Lockheed Martin acquires Chandler/May

Lockheed Martin Corp. acquired Chandler/May Inc., to become part of Lockheed Martin's Mission Systems & Sensors (MS2) business. MS2 has experience in unmanned systems, including the K-MAX unmanned helicopter, Desert Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and Persistent Threat Detection System aerostats. As a ground control station integrator, Chandler/May has delivered integrated command and control shelters and portable ground control stations in support of U.S. Army programs. The company has produced more than 2,200 UAVs, including the Desert Hawk (for which Chandler/May is a supplier to Lockheed Martin) and the Fury UAV, as well as the SharkFin Mission & Flight Control System and tactical air vehicle control system.
