AVIONICS INTELLIGENCE REPORT, 24 July 2012. The global avionics community is alive and well, as evidenced by a fruitful Farnborough International Airshow and a recent meeting of minds among the Avionics Europe Advisory Board, reveals Executive Editor Courtney E. Howard in The Avionics Intelligence Report.

Roughly one third of the Avionics Europe Advisory Board met last week in London to discuss the current state and future direction of the global avionics community, as well as current and future challenges, technology trends, present and upcoming solutions, and much more. Taking all this into consideration, the team of avionics professionals pored over roughly 100 paper abstracts submitted by virtually all facets of industry—from government agencies, academia, and technology development firms.

Howard and the entire Avionics Europe team offers their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who submitted an abstract and to the Advisory Board for their input, insights, and hard work.

Those who kindly submitted abstracts will hear from us soon. In the meantime, keep an eye on avionics-intelligence.com and avionics-event.com, where we’ll reveal the conference sessions for Avionics Europe 2013, the theme of which is: Single Sky, Many Platforms.
