This rugged connector is smaller, more compact and lighter than the current range in the Fischer UltiMate series, but has the same performances as the other sizes in the product line, company officials say.
With a diameter of 14 millimeters, the Fischer UltiMate series 07 is available in a 2 to 9 contact configuration to enable designers to create smaller devices with more connections and more functions with the same performance.
The Fischer UltiMate series is sealed IP68/69 mated and unmated and has a corrosion resistance of 1,000 hours. The connector offers 360-degree EMC shielding, guaranteed 10,000 mating cycles, and an operating temperature from -55 to 135 degrees Celsius.
The Fischer UltiMate series is available in five sizes (07, 08, 11, 13 and 18) and in configurations from 2 to 42 pins. Cable assemblies are available in straight and right-angle overmolding. Soft caps and bend relief are available for all sizes.
