Network appliances for government, aerospace, education, and retail uses introduced by AAEON

The box computers support 4th generation Intel Core processors at varying clock speeds in dual and quad core embedded computing designs. Cooled by two rear-mounted fans, the FWS-7400 comes configured with six Gigabit Ethernet ports with an option for two pairs LAN bypass.

With three rear mounted fans, the FWS-7810 embedded computer is equipped with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports. For greater flexibility, the FWS-7400 has one Network Interface Module (NIM) expansion slot to support additional Gigabit Ethernet or Fiber Optical connections.

The FWS-7400 has as much as 16 gigabytes of DDR3 1600 MHz system memory, and the FWS-7810 can support as much as 32 gigabytes of DDR3 1600 MHz of system memory and PCI Express expansion slots.

Both systems offer a console port for maintenance and high speed, high capacity storage options. With two onboard 6-gigabit-per-second SATA connectors, the FWS-7400 equips either one Internal 3.5-inch SATA or two 2.5-inch SATA hard disks, whereas the FWS-7810 offers expandability with to three SATA ports, as well as RAID 0,1 support.

The computers offer firewall protection against data center breaches from viruses, malware, and other potential intrusions by offering a range of integrated and add-on security has such as Access Control, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, UTM, WAN optimization, VPN, IDS, IPS, and bandwidth management.
