ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., 13 April 2015. TRU-Vu Monitors in Arlington Heights, Ill. is introducing the SRMW-24R-SS sunlight-readable monitor for military, marine, oil and gas, digital signage, amusement park, factory wash-down, and auto racing applications.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., 13 April 2015. TRU-Vu Monitors in Arlington Heights, Ill. is introducing the SRMW-24R-SS sunlight-readable monitor for military, marine, oil and gas, digital signage, amusement park, factory wash-down, and auto racing applications.

The outdoor SRMW-24R-SS electro-optical device has a 24-inch screen, 1,000 nits brightness, and a waterproof NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure. It has VGA, HDMI and display port video inputs, and can be customized.

Sunlight-readable monitors are designed to produce clear, sharp video images even with bright sunlight directly on the face of the screen. This typically requires 1,000 nits or more brightness.
