Officials of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Ala., announced the companies that will be suppliers for the three-year NETCENTS-2 network operations and infrastructure solutions contract.
NETCENTS-2 is a set of five categories of contract capabilities spanning netcentric products, network operations and infrastructure solutions, applications services, enterprise integration and service management, and information technology professional services.
The 19 new NETCENTS-2 contractors will compete over the next three years for orders that will total as much as $7.9 billion. The 19 companies named Friday are:

These contractors will provide a wide range of services and solutions that support existing legacy infrastructure, networks, systems, and operations, as well as evolving the infrastructure, networks, systems, and operations to comply with the Air Force enterprise architecture, Air Force officials say.
It is the network operations contract for Air Force users as well as other U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and federal agencies. This contract is the mandatory source for all Air Force units purchasing services that fall under the scope of the contract.
