Officials of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Lakehurst, N.J., announced a $24.8 million contract to Rockwell Collins Tuesday to provide radio communications gear for the P-8A for the U.S. Navy and for the government of Australia.

Rockwell Collins will provide 63 DF 430 aircraft direction finders, RTP 4230 radio tuner panels, and HF-121 high frequency radios, as well as assemblies, subassemblies, technical data, and support. Of this order, 47 sets are for the U.S. Navy and 16 are for Australia.
