ALLEN, Texas, 7 Oct. 2015. Fairview Microwave Inc. in Allen, Texas, is introducing a family of low-profile right-angle high-performance flexible RF cable assemblies for applications that call for flexibility when routing cables in tight enclosures, test racks, or inside cabinets.

The interconnect product family consists of 16 assemblies covering a frequency range from DC to 26.5 GHz for the SMA versions and DC to 18 GHz for the Type-N and TNC terminated cables as alternative to 0.086-inch and 0.141-inch diameter semi-rigid cable assemblies.

The cables have right-angle connectors that have a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.25 to 1 typical, as well as low insertion loss, and incorporate a double-shielded wire braid over foil tape construction, resulting in isolation in excess of 90 dB and phase velocity of 69.5 percent.

The cables are designed to operate in temperatures from -40 to 150 degrees Celsius and stainless steel connectors with a minimum lifespan of 500 mating cycles.
