Universal Air Filter in Sauget, Ill., is offering extended-surface air filters for applications in which space is limited and a design requires maximum air flow. These 3-D basket filters can more than double surface area, extending inside or outside the enclosure. A one-piece fabricated frame-and-grid design provides sturdiness in standing up to high air flow. Hexagon, square, rectangular, and diamond grid patters, with about 85 percent openness, are available. A variety of foam media are available for the filters, including Quadrafoam to arrest dust and lower resistance where permanent, cleanable filters are necessary. These filters meet the guidelines of UL 94 HF-1; UL 900 Class 2, CE. For more information contact Universal Air Filter online at www.uaf.com.
