NKK Switches in Scottsdale, Ariz., is offering the LW series of dual-faced illuminated and nonilluminated rocker switches. The snap-in mount, rocker devices are double pole and available in many circuit options including maintained and momentary action. They are rated at a resistive load of 10 amps at 125-volts AC, 6 amps at 250-volts AC or 6 amps at 30-volts DC. The inductive load rating is 5 amps at 125-volts AC. UL and CSA markings are available upon request. The rockers have dual-faced illumination. Each half of the rocker face is distinctly illuminated due to the partitioned rocker-cap construction and dual lamps. Design engineers are able to create various lighting effects by choosing to use either white or clear rocker caps, with multiple colored filters or lamp covers. In addition, different colors can be specified on each side of the rocker. Available with either incandescent lamps in several voltages or neon bulbs, the light sources operate independently of each other. The lamp sockets are stationary and independent of the rocker actuation, which protects them from damage due to shock or vibration. Front-panel relamping allows for easy access. Optional accessories for all models include a decorative bezel available in several different colors. For more information contact NKK Switches online at www.nkkswitches.com.
