The design allows tools such as probes, sensors, fiber-optics, lasers, and lenses to position precisely at variable angles with respect to a target sample. Virtual Point technology enables the tip of the tool to remain fixed at a specific point while its angle of approach varies continuously. The functional design incorporates advanced proprietary rotary piezoelectric motor technology and a linear stage, all driven by a digital signal processor (DSP).
