Enea in Stockholm, Sweden, is offering the Optima Eclipse-based integrated development environment for the OSE real-time operating system, which uses Eclipse version 3.1.2 and C/C++ Development Toolkit version 3.1.1. Optima provides system-level browsing, debugging, profiling, and analysis tools for debugging and optimizing large-scale distributed systems with several processors and operating system. Optima uses the Eclipse workbench and workspace concept for building images and managing projects, and provides plug-ins for most software configuration management tools, company officials say. The C/C++ Development Toolkit includes a C/C++ editor with language-aware highlighting and code completion, and C/C++ debugger, launcher, parser, and indexer.
