Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing in Leesburg, Va., is introducing a video-capture high-resolution PMC graphics controller called the AtlasPMC/2. The PCI mezzanine card (PMC) delivers video, RGB, and DVI input capability and multimedia features such as dual-head analog or DVI output display, stereo audio I/O, and an on-board USB 2.0 controller. The AtlasPMC/2 is based on the ATI Technologies’ RADEON Mobility 9000 (M9) mobile graphics processor, which supports dual 2D, 3D, OpenGL, and DirectX compatible displays with as many as 16.7 million colors. This single PMC displays analog VGA screen resolutions up to 1920 by 1200 pixels over its front panel DVI-I and MDR20 connectors. TV video signal output (NTSC/PAL) is supported on the card’s second channel. A version of the card that provides support for front-panel LVDS support is available via special order.
