AR Modular RF introduces 50-watt, 3.4-3.7 GHz amplifier

AR Modular RF in Bothell, Wash., is offering the Model CMS1080 solid-state LDMOS power-amplifier module as a power option for the wireless broadband network. The device, which meets WiMAX (802.16) specifications, is a 50-watt, 47 dBm linear power-amplifier module covers the 3.4-3.7 GHz frequency range. It has a scalable gain of 30 to 50dB and can be modified to meet various OFDM and NPR requirements. The amplifier is protected from thermal overload, overpower, overvoltage, and wrong voltage polarity, and contains an internal isolator.
