Canadian Department of National Defence contracts CAE, Ngrain for simulation services

Personnel at Canada’s Department of National Defence (DND) in Ottawa required interactive 3D technologies and solutions to aid in synthetic environment (SE) activities, such as experiments, mission rehearsals, demonstrations, and exercises for all Air Force fleets.

Personnel at Canada’s Department of National Defence (DND) in Ottawa required interactive 3D technologies and solutions to aid in synthetic environment (SE) activities, such as experiments, mission rehearsals, demonstrations, and exercises for all Air Force fleets.

They partnered with CAE Professional Services (PS) in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, and Ngrain, a provider of 3D performance support solutions in Vancouver, British Columbia

Ngrain engineers will deliver to the DND customized 3D solutions that can be integrated into a larger simulation device. Ngrain’s interactive 3D training solutions will support DND SE project activities. Ngrain’s activities will fall under a $10 million contract that was awarded to CAE by the DND.
