Themis Computer in Fremont, Calif., is introducing the TC2D64 high-performance, low-power VMEbus single-board computers (SBCs) for severe commercial and military applications that involve shocks as strong as 30 Gs. Themis’s TC2D64 CPU boards are based on the low-power Intel Core 2 Duo processor clocked as fast as 2.16 GHz, and Intel’s 7520 chipset with ECC memory controller. TC2D64 computer board memory is expandable to 4 gigabytes of DDRII-400 memory, and its memory modules can be screwed down to withstand shock and vibration. I/O includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, a SATA port, and two USB 2.0 ports. I/O expansion comes from an on-board 64 bit/66 MHz PMC slot along with a PCI Express connector to an optional XMC expansion board with two XMC slots for PMC modules or PCI Express XMC modules. I/O provides AC97 audio, a third Gigabit Ethernet port, and two multiprotocol serial ports. A three-slot PMC carrier card is optional. For more information, visit Themis online at www.themis.com.
