Elma Electronic Inc. in Fremont, Calif., is introducing Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) boards for empty slots in MicroTCA chassis that help cool air within critical parts of electronics enclosures. The AMC boards act as air baffle and filler panels for empty slots in the MicroTCA chassis. The AMC air baffle works in unused slots in a MicroTCA chassis to redirect or contain air flow for thermal management of the overall chassis. The cards also act as filler boards to prevent open slots and protect the chassis from outside elements such as dust. The boards are available in full and mid sizes.
