C&K Components in Newton, Mass., has developed a series of miniature sealed snap-action switches for space-sensitive applications requiring long life and high electrical capabilities. The snap-action mechanism provides positive indication and high reliability, with an extended mechanical life of more than 100,000 cycles. The switches are for dispensing equipment, thermostat controls, motor controls, consumer electronics, testing equipment, and medical devices. The single-pole double-throw switches feature a wide variety of actuator and termination styles, including quick connect, solder style, PCB through hole, and potted wire leads of standard 12-inch length. The switches feature contact ratings to 6 amps at 125 volts AC and 3 amps at 250 volts AC. Operating force ranges from 60 to 150 grams at the actuator button, with an operating temperature range from -40 to 105 degrees Celsius. The switch is dust and splash proof, and potted wire leads meet IP67 approval. A variety of levers are also available. The LCS Series switch housing is made of high-temperature resistant PTS thermoplastic (featuring UL-94V-O rating). For more information, visit C&K online at www.ck-components.com.
