Data Device Corp. (DDC) in Bohemia, N.Y., is introducing the SB-3624x synchro angle position indicator “API” half-size PCI card, which features six input channels with an on-board reference oscillator and optional transformer isolation. “What makes this card valuable to our customers is its compatibility with desktop computers, that often use a 3.3-volt PCI bus and lack bay dimensions for full-size cards,” says Roger Tomassi, DDC’s senior product marketing specialist. The SB-3624x offers accuracies to 1 arc minute with 1 LSB repeatability, and incorporates programmable features such as resolution and bandwidth, allowing users to custom configure via software for the best dynamic responses. The card auto configures for universal signaling of 5 or 3.3 volts, while a built-in test output monitors for loss of signal, loss of reference frequency, or loss of tracking.
