SprayCool Inc. in Liberty Lake, Wash., is introducing a 3U form factor direct spray-cooled rugged enclosure for armored vehicle vetronics, as well as for aircraft avionics in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and helicopters that require small, lightweight, low-power, and low-cost military embedded aerospace electronics. The MPE-3U offers relatively low overall system cost compared to conduction or other liquid cooled electronics alternatives, and enables electronics flexibility, density, and reliability in a 3U enclosure, says a company representative. The MPE-3U weighs 18 pounds and is rugged enough to provide environmental isolation to commercial-grade and rugged 3U cards. For more information, visit SprayCool online at www.spraycool.com.
