Rugged computers are essential for today’s network-centric military operations on the digital battlefield. Computers help military leaders with command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, situational awareness, and mission planning. Suffice it to say that today’s battlefield computers contain and process some of the most important mission- and life-critical information anywhere. Break one of these computers, and essential information can be irreparably lost.
