ARLINGTON, Va., 28 July 2014. U.S. military researchers are asking industry to develop situational awareness of wireless tactical networks with an eye to fortifying network control against attack or other sources of misinformation.

Officials of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Arlington, Va., have released a solicitation to industry for the second and third phases of the Wireless Network Defense (WND) program, which includes applying techniques to a representative wireless platform.
