Army asks General Dynamics to transform six legacy main battle tanks into latest M1A2 SEP models

WARREN, Mich., 16 Feb. 2015. Main battle tank designers at General Dynamics Land Systems in Sterling Heights, Mich., will build six M1A2 Abrams System Enhanced Package (SEP) Version 2 (V2) main battle tanks with digital vetronics under terms of a $49.8 million U.S. Army contract modification announced Friday.
