Summary

Interoperable communications systems are essential for today's military command and control. Critical information needs to travel from the highest levels of government to the combatant commands, the brigade to the team, and everywhere in-between. The way information flows among critical users must be flexible, scalable, and able to link devices platforms in real-time in all environments.

This webinar will cover solutions to these interoperability challenges that involve REDCOM Sigma -- a standards-based C2 software platform that helps integrate legacy and future infrastructure.

Sigma provides voice and radio over the internet; video; chat; conferencing; transcoding, and push-to-talk console capabilities. Sigma supports multiple deployment options, and the webinar will discuss how to chose the correct hardware for land, sea, and air, with examples from Curtiss-Wright’s modular and rugged tactical communications systems.

This level of interoperability will give warfighters the best chance of maintaining critical command-and-control communications across joint and coalition forces in a contested environment.
