Green Hills Software in Santa Barbara, Calif., and SafeNet Inc. in Belcamp, Md., are forming an alliance to create trusted platform solutions for embedded computing and mobile computing applications. The companies will concentrate on integrating SafeNet portable smart card-based devices with the Green Hills Integrity Multivisor software technology for secure communications, data protection, and authentication on embedded and mobile devices like smartphones, company officials say.
