CONCORD, Calif., 12 May 2016. The ConTech division of Calex Manufacturing Co. in Concord, Calif., is introducing the TMX series of DC-DC converters, which offers power of as much as 50 Watts of regulated output power with an industry standard 2-by-1-inch footprint.

The series offers a 4:1 input range with nominal input voltages of 24 and 48 volts DC. Single outputs come in 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24 volts DC.

The TMX series operates with efficiencies as high as 92 percent, and includes remote on/off, output trim, and short circuit protection. The operating ambient temperature range is -40 to 105 degrees Celsius case temperature.

Derating curves will apply for operation in higher ambient conditions. The unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in a six-sided metal case for improved thermal performance in still air environments. The TMX series is RoHS compliant.
