VNX+ (VITA 90) and 3U VPX (OpenVPX, VITA 65) each provide a standards-based path to MOSA, yet they are designed to serve distinct requirements. VNX+ offers a significantly smaller footprint, while 3U VPX provides greater performance headroom.

The optimal choice depends on the mission profile and the environmental considerations of the intended platform.  However, the architectural similarities between the two form factors makes it easy to move applications between them.

This webinar is intended for engineers, system architects, program managers, and those new to these standards. Presenters will compare the similarities (and few differences) between the two architectures, examine the associated tradeoffs, and identify the applications for which each is best suited, including UAV payloads, ground vehicles, dismounted systems, and LEO space.
