NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., 12 Aug. 2012. Cabling and connector specialist L-com Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing an armored line of HDMI audio and video rugged cables with Ethernet that have crush-resistant protection over the cable length for military, security, and industrial applications in harsh environments.
The cables are available in either metal armor with a crush resistance of 1,500 pounds per square inch (PSI), or plastic armor with a crush resistance of 1,000 PSI.
These cables have 30 micro-inch gold plated contacts and double shielding to protect the sensitive audio and video signals from interference. The cables are stocked in six different lengths and are available off-the-shelf for same day shipment.
