Low-noise linear power supply for 15-volt rail source applications introduced by Calex

CONCORD, Calif., 26 Sept. 2012. Calex Mfg. Co. Inc. in Concord Calif., is introducing the model 2.15.350 low-noise linear power supply for use as a dual 15-volt rail source and similar applications.

The 2.15.350 provides an output of plus-or-minus 15 volts DC at 350 milliamps and can be powered by 100, 115, 220, 230, or 240 volts AC. The power electronics device offers tight regulation, low noise, and stability.

The voltage accuracy is plus-or-minus 0.5 percent. Line and load regulation is plus-or-minus 0.04 percent. Noise and ripple is 2 millivolts RMS.

The input frequency range is 50 to 60 Hz. The power supply is housed in a 2.5-by-3.5-by-1.56-inch case encapsulated with an epoxy potting compound for operation in harsh environments.

The case operating temperature range is -25 to 50 degrees Celsius. Chassis mounting kits are available for applications requiring screw terminal connections.
