Rugged fanless mini PC for space-constrained applications introduced by Stealth Computer

WOODBRIDGE, Ontario, 29 May 2013. Stealth Computer Inc. in Woodbridge, Ontario, is introducing the LPC-480FS fanless small-form-factor PC for space-constrained applications.

The LPC-480FS is encapsulated in a rugged extruded aluminum chassis performing as a heat sink to dissipate heat, and measures 6.1 by 10 by 2.17 inches -- or about the size of a hard cover book, company officials say.

The LPC-480FS has an Intel B840 mobile processor and I/O that includes Gigabit LAN, 4-USB 3.0, 2-USB 2.0, 2-Serial/RS232, Intel HD3000 graphics, Audio In/Out and 2-PS/2 ports. The LPC-480FS also supports up to 16 gigabytes of DDR3 SODIMM memory, and has SATA III support.

The LPC-480FS comes standard with a 128-gigabyte solid-state drive, and is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, XP, Embedded, and Linux.
