WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the PL-80510 fanless, small-form-factor industrial rugged computer for industrial control, security and network video recorders, building automation, art-based medical. digital signage, point-of-sale, and similar applications.

The unit offers the choice of Intel Atom D2550 or N2600 processors. Both processors are high performance, but low-power consuming at 10 and 3.5 Watts, respectively.

The D2550 is a 1.86 GHz, dual-core design; the N2600 delivers 1.6 GHz and is available in dual- and quad-core packages. PL-80510 provides a small footprint system in a rugged aluminum chassis with integrated heat-sink design.

The fanless rugged computer offers 1U low profile; as much as 2 gigabytes or 4 gigabytes of DDR3 memory; support for HDMI and VGA dual display; supports 1 one 2.5-inch hard disk drive and one half-size mSATA solid-state drive; two Intel Giga LAN, three COM, four USB, Audio; VESA 75 and wall-mount support; two Mini-PCI Express sockets; and input from 8 volts DC to 32 volts DC.
