WATERLOO, Ontario, 17 Sept. 2015. Pixus Technologies in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing ejector handles and panels for 3U and 6U VPX embedded computing boards.

The Pixus Type IV IEEE hot-swap ejector handles feature a rounded base that allow the handle to rock back, providing leverage to insert/remove VPX boards more easily.

The handles can engage more than 1000N or 225 pounds of force per slot. Front panels in 0.8 inches, 1 inch, and custom widths and 3U/6U heights are available in flat or U-channel versions for EMC. The 2.5-millimeter aluminum panels come in anodized or clear chromate finishes.

Filler panels also are available in various widths. Pixus offers customized front panels, including silk screening, powder coating, cutouts and milling, and other specialty requirements.
