FREMONT, Calif., 28 Oct. 2016. Themis Computer in Fremont, Calif., is introducing the next-generation RES-XR5 embedded computingrackmount servers with support for Intel’s current Broadwell processor for military, industrial, or rugged commercial use.

Themis RES-XR5 1RU, 2RU, and 3RU, front, and rear servers feature Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors with as many as 20 cores per socket and one TB DDR4 ECC memory. The Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors enable Themis servers a 20-to-30-percent boost in performance due to their combination of high processor frequency and high core count.

The Broadwell update includes the Themis standard and high-density servers, the RES-mini small form factor server, and general-purpose graphics processing unit (GPGPU) high-performance embedded computing (HPEC).

Themis RES servers provide performance and superior resilience to shock, vibration, and temperature extremes. The RES-XR5-1U server can be mounted in standard commercial racks or mobile rugged transit cases.
