WATERLOO, Ontario – Teledyne DALSA in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing the Linea 16k CLHS low-cost line scan cameras for flat-panel display, printed circuit board, web inspection, and general-purpose machine visionelectro-optics applications.
The camera employs a 16k single line, 3.52-micron-by-3.52-micron pixel array at a 71 kHz maximum line rate. The new model offers flat-field correction, several ROI and AOI, several user configuration sets, and calibration coefficients for various lighting conditions.
GenICam compliant Linea sets up and integrates using a GUI, such as Teledyne DALSA's Sapera camera configuration utility CamExpert.
With its CLHS interface, the 16k model reduces the number of cables required from its companion Camera Link models, allowing for distances to 15 meters on copper with support for plug-in active optical fiber cables for deployment beyond 15 meters.
