LIBERTY, S.C. – Cornell Dubilier Electronics Inc. in Liberty, S.C., is introducing the AXLH rugged axial-lead aluminum electrolytic capacitors for mission-critical power electronics applications in military, aerospace, off-road vehicles, and infrastructure system electronics.

The capacitors are for applications which require very high-performance under all operating conditions, and offer continuous ripple current rated to 28 amps RMS. With a load life rating of 2,000 hours at full-rated voltage and temperatures to 150 degrees Celsius, the AXLH has a shelf life of 10 years.

Nine values are available, from 470 to 4,700 micro farads, with ratings from 25 to 63 volts DC. The AXLH series is subject to MIL-STD-202, method 204 vibration testing to 20 Gs.

The AXLH case measures 20 millimeters, and is 26.5 to 42.5 millimeters long. Axial-lead wires measure 1 millimeter. The devices are RoHS compliant and free of conflict materials.
