MISSION VIEJO, Calif., 2 June 2015. Dynatem in Mission Viejo, Calif., is introducing the BoldHPC 50-10 liquid-cooled embedded server for rugged high-performance computing applications like signal processing, intelligent surveillance and reconnaissance, simulation, heavy computational loads, and data concentrators.

Safe, reliable liquid cooling enables 1000 times more performance than air-cooling and consumes less energy than fans, Dynatem officials say. The BoldHPC design offers performance of 3.15 billion floating point operations per second per Watt.

The BoldHPC embedded computing server is a 19-inch rackmount computer offering one or two blades, each with 3.3 trillion floating point operations per second maximum. The 1U high BoldHPC offers optional double blades, single blade with PSU, and single blade with PCI Express expansion for I/O boards and mass storage.

"With the introduction of the BoldHPC, we are bringing supercomputing power to applications never previously possible," says Mike Horan, chief executive officer, Dynatem. "The design is extremely energy efficient and liquid cooling is reliable for high performance in difficult environments."

The BoldHPC is rugged and reliable without any moving parts, and is based on the ACPU-20 blade which includes 1 or 2 Intel E5 v2 processors with as many as 12 cores each, and as many as two Nvidia Kepler GPUs or two Intel Xeon Phi coprocessors can be populated per blade.
